Riley Maloney has an extensive background in data analysis and research – specializing in Law Enforcement data and policy. Riley graduated from University of Oxford with a Master’s of Science degree, where he honed his skills in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
After completing his education, Riley began his career in the field of data analysis and research, where he held several positions at machine learning and technology companies. Currently, Riley is serving as the Director of Research and Implementation at Benchmark Analytics, seeking to marry data science and law enforcement. In this role, he oversees the implementation of First Sign, the only research base Early Intervention System, in partnership with some of the country’s largest police departments. Through First Sign, Riley has supported police departments as they utilize the tool to identify officers who require additional support and to intervene with these individuals before adverse events occur.
